The road to Nam Ming

I couldn't wait for my cycling partner to return, with the sun already over my head I have to leave Luang Prabang withour a second to spare. After leaving a word at the reception desk I left around 12.30pm. The road to Kiew Kachan starts to climb after 40 minutes of cycling out of Luang Prabang. I can't remember how many hills or mountain peaks I climb and it seems to go on with an end in sight.

27th December 2010 - The Lone Cyclist Rides again!

27th December 2010

I left Luang Prabang alone for Phonsavan. I'm of the opinion that we were rushing from place to place without actually seeing any interesting sight around the towns we stopped. We would ride into one town, spend a night at a hotel or guesthouse then leave as quickly as possible the following day for the next destination.
I do not know of what others think but that is not my idea of bicycle touring.
